Sevira (“we”, “us”, “our”) respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal information. Sevira is a trading name of Treadlux, a business established in the Netherlands. As we are based in the European Union and sell to customers in Australia, we handle personal information in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Australian customers also have rights under the Australian Privacy Act 1988, which we respect. This Privacy Policy applies to seviracosmetics.com and our related sales and marketing activities.

What information we collect

  • Identity and contact details – name, email address, phone number, shipping and billing address.
  • Order and payment information – products purchased, order history, and payment details. Card details are processed securely by our payment provider; we do not store full card numbers.
  • Account and communications – messages you send us and your marketing preferences.
  • Technical and usage data – IP address, device and browser type, and how you use our site, collected through cookies and similar technologies.

How we collect it

We collect information directly from you when you place an order, create an account, sign up to our emails or contact us. We also collect some information automatically through cookies and analytics, and from service providers who help us run our store (for example, our e-commerce, payment and shipping partners).

Why we use your information and our legal basis

  • To process and deliver your orders and manage payments and refunds – necessary to perform our contract with you.
  • To provide customer support and respond to your enquiries – performance of our contract and our legitimate interests.
  • To send you marketing where you have opted in – based on your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
  • To prevent fraud, secure our site and improve our products and service – our legitimate interests.
  • To meet legal, tax and accounting obligations – compliance with our legal obligations.

Who we share it with

We share personal information only as needed to run our business, including with:

  • our e-commerce platform (Shopify) and hosting providers;
  • payment processors who handle your transaction;
  • shipping, fulfilment and supplier partners who deliver your order;
  • email marketing and analytics providers;
  • advertising platforms such as Meta (Facebook and Instagram) to measure and deliver advertising; and
  • professional advisers or authorities where required or permitted by law.

We do not sell your personal information.

International transfers

Some of our service providers store or process information outside the European Economic Area and outside Australia, including in countries such as Canada and the United States. Where this happens, we take reasonable steps to ensure your information is protected, for example through approved data transfer mechanisms such as the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses.

Cookies and tracking

We use cookies and similar technologies to operate our site, remember your preferences, analyse traffic and deliver relevant advertising, including through the Meta Pixel. You can control cookies through your browser settings or our cookie banner, although disabling them may affect how the site works.

Direct marketing

If you have opted in, we may send you marketing about our products and offers. Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link, and you can opt out at any time by using that link or by emailing support@seviracosmetics.com.

How we protect your information

We take reasonable steps to protect personal information from misuse, loss and unauthorised access, including secure hosting and encryption of payment data. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Data retention

We keep personal information only for as long as needed for the purposes described above or to meet legal, tax and accounting requirements, after which it is securely deleted or de-identified.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, update or delete your personal information, to object to or restrict certain processing, to data portability, and to withdraw consent at any time. To exercise these rights, email us at support@seviracosmetics.com. We will respond within a reasonable period.

Complaints

If you have a privacy concern, please contact us first at support@seviracosmetics.com so we can address it. If you are not satisfied with our response, EU customers may lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens) at autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl, and Australian customers may contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at oaic.gov.au.

Children

Our store is intended for customers aged 18 and over and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
